Data published by Mabrian has revealed that the United States has the best air connectivity in the first half of the current year, among all the major countries across the globe.

Consequently, the country represents the top potential for the purpose of outbound travel to various continents.

Report

As per a report put out by the organization, a thorough and detailed analysis was run on several flight schedules.

It was revealed that American Airlines is going to have a total of 83.5 million air seats for outbound flights in the first six months of the current year. This number is higher than that of the previous year, standing at 14.12%.

Meanwhile, it has been disclosed that the number of seats for outbound travel at Chinese airlines has been forecasted to be exponentially higher, as compared to the previous year.

The specific figure has been determined to be 138.56%, with the total number of air seats going as high as 35.1 million.

As a result of this increase, China is going to become the eighth country out of 10 on the overall list of countries with high air connectivity for the current year.

Air seats

The total number of outbound air seats for the top ten countries currently stands at a sum of 482,102,279, which contributes to no less than 42% of the international air seats on a global level in the first six months of the current year.

The CMO at Mabrian, Carlos Cendra, took note of these figures, stating that assessing the overall potential stemming from the origin markets is a key factor when determining the outbound air connectivity of a certain country.

Consequently, he added, it is instrumental in helping identify the locations where the travel and tourism sector is likely to be in high demand.

It further paves the way for relevant opportunities to be picked upon by tourism companies in various destinations across the globe.

However, the CMO took to stressing the importance of each destination running a thorough analysis on their respective number of outbound air seats.

Other information

The report by Mabrian further showed that the connectivity between China and various European countries has gone up significantly.

This has been a direct result of the citizens of various countries no longer being required to fill out a visa application to travel to China.

These locations include France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, as well as the Netherlands.

Moreover, this move encouraged a substantial increase in connectivity and offered a total of 1.98 million air seats in total.

The figures are being deemed to be impressive for their 190% increase, as compared to the first six months of 2023.

At the time, only 682,000 air seats had been available for outbound travel, which was not up to the expected levels.

According to Mabrian, this surge is primarily supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China taking various measures to encourage the return of tourism from European countries
